I am seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who specializes in treating special populations, including children, pregnant women, and individuals with substance use disorders, in Marion, Levy, Sumter, Citrus, Putnam, Lake, or Alachua County, Florida.

Additionally, preceptors must hold a current, unencumbered state license and national certification, as appropriate, in the population-focused or specialty practice area. All preceptors must have a master's or doctoral degree in a specialization that aligns with course objectives. They must also have at least one year of experience in a practice area relevant to the student's clinical needs.

I am required to complete at least 50% of their clinical courses (a minimum of two) with a nurse practitioner preceptor. While it is preferred that I complete all clinical courses under the supervision of a nurse practitioner, there may be circumstances where a qualified practitioner other than a nurse practitioner (e.g., APRN, PA, MD, or DO) serves as the preceptor.
