Advanced Practice Nurses of the Ozarks (APNO)

MO scope of practice and restrictions.

Posted almost 3 years ago by Rachel Choate

Hello APNO Members:

It was so great to speak to you all this past week. Nothing excites me more than knowing where we are and where our practices need to be to help our patients! I had a lot of questions on scope of practice and restrictions. Unfortunately, Missouri has so many restrictions that it really is hard to keep up on them. Here is a link that will take you directly to the statutes. We do also have language in other places of the statutes but this is the primary place.

However, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. :)

One last thing..... the American Association of Nurse Practitioners will be having a reception Thursday night at the conference. It is completely free and you do NOT have to be a member of AANP to attend. It is all about just getting together, mingling, and relationship building. There will be free drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) along with lots of finger foods! The CEO, Jon Fanning, will be flying in just for the event. Bring all your friends. Again, you do not have to be a member of AANP. It is Thursday night 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chateau. It is a come and go. No presentation. You do not have to RSVP but if you want a text reminder or room reminder, please send me a quick text at 417-209-2773 or email at schapman@aanp.org and I'll send you a reminder. :)

Don't hesitate to let me know if I can be of any assistance at all! See you all soon!

With Warm Regards:
